The 3rd International Digital Human Modeling Symposium (DHM2014) will be held on May 20-22, 2014 in Tokyo, Japan in conjunction with the 3rd International Summit on Human Simulation (ISHS 2014). The symposium will be followed by a meeting of the Technical Committee on Human Simulation and Virtual Environments (TC HSVE) of the International Ergonomic Association (IEA) during the afternoon of May 22. The symposium will be hosted by the Digital Human Research Center at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST).

The symposium will take place in AIST Tokyo Waterfront in Odaiba, a large artificial island in Tokyo Bay. Odaiba offers a unique combination of both historical and modern aspects of Tokyo. It is initially built for defensive purposes in the 1850s, dramatically expanded during the late 20th century as a seaport district, and has developed since the 1990s as a major commercial, residential and leisure area.

The DHM2014 provides an international forum for researchers to report their latest innovations, summarize state-of-the-art in the field, as well as exchange ideas, results, and visions in all fields of digital human modeling research and applications.

We look forward to welcoming participants from all over the world. Please mark May 20-22, 2014 on your calendars and keep watching this site for more information.
